United Together launched their COVID-19 Virtual Screening Assessment on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. The program was launched to help aid Vietnamese Canadians wanting to assess symptoms of COVID-19. A self-assessment is conducted and then a United Together physician reaches out to the patient. Any patient identified with bad symptoms are then referred to a Covid Assessment centre.
“We are proud to announce United Together’s newest program – COVID-19 Virtual Screening Assessments. Connecting with us is easy. Call our hotline 905-605-6886 and press option 1 for COVID-19 Virtual Screening Assessments. Or you can submit the COVID self-assessment form on our website www.united-together.com that is available in English and Vietnamese. After you submit this form, you will receive a phone call from a United Together Medical Health physician within 2 days. He or she will assess your risks and will refer you to a COVID Screening Center for COVID Testing. Please note this service is only available for Vietnamese-Canadians living in York Region, North York and Brampton.”
